Travel Database - A Lifelong Project

Countries/regions that I visited sorted by the time I spent there:

Travel is one of my passions - and I take it seriously. For each travel opportunity, I will do research of the destination before departure in order to maximize what I learn from the trip. During the visit, I am inquisitive about the local languages/dialects, architectures and arts, cuisine, and the geography. I envision here to be a database for me to carefully document and share all the interesting knowledge I learned during the trips (currently under construction...).

Back to the time when I used to be an architecture student (yes, I had some architectural design backgrounds in the early years), I was lucky to get the opportunity to study abroad in Italy in 2015, to have immersive education about western architectural theory and history, specialized in Renaissance, Baroque, and Italian urbanism. I also went to Brazil and Tunis to research on the urban development issues. Back in 2017, I interned for one of the Japanese star architects Junya Ishigami in Tokyo, Japan. All these experiences have shaped my mind to be humble and willing to appreciate the cultural differences among the diverse groups of mankind.

Starting from Thailand in 2008 to Brazil in 2019, so far I have collected visa stamps from 20 different countries/regions across the globe with all continents except Antarctica visited. My next destination is a somewhere in South America. If you have any travel experiences to share, hit me up!
